We were very happy to be able to provide you with e-mail reminders about TV shows, new CD's by artist, sports scores, solar eclipses, Yeti sightings*, and so much more...
...but unfortunately the economics of it didn't work out (those pesky things called time and money!), and we aren't able to devote the necessary resources to maintaining the site.
We'd like to thank everyone who used Crap — you're the best! — and even more thanks for all the feedback you gave us.
And if anyone's interested, we've got a great PHP codebase available for anyone who wants to license a rock-solid platform for e-mail/RSS distribution of event notifications from a vast array of Internet data sources! Let us know at oh@crapimissedit.com.
